Salvage & Architectural Antiques: a Victorian presentation terracotta brick plaque on stand, with incised decoration, marked 'Albert Bliss', the stand signed 'JB', together with a further plaque signed 'John Bliss', the largest 17 1/2" wide.

Local interest: the items are reputed to have been crafted at Stewkley Brick Works, Buckinghamshire by the brickmaker as a present for his son.
