A hand built 1:48 scale ship model of the 1938 New York Harbour Fireboat 'Firefighter', with proportional forward and reverse speed, elevating tower, lights, hydrants, and derricks. The model was exhibited at the 1975 Model Engineer Exhibition, achieving a 'Very Highly Commended' award, and featured in the October & November 1974 issues of Radio Modeller magazine.
