A Piece of early / mid 18thC carved wood and gesso fragment, depicting a bird amongst foliage accompanied by a scaled sea serpent , having remnants of pully or wench system to the back. For similar see; The Royal Barge produced by shipwright John hall to a William Kent design in 1732. Measuring 45 1/" long x 12 1/2" high.
