A collection of 11 mounted mezzotint portrait engravings depicting well known persons of the 18th and 19th century, comprising Sir William Blackstone (1723-1780), William Booth (1829-1912), Edmund Burke (1729-1797), David Garrick (1717-1779), Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774), Cardinal Manning (1808-1892), Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792), John
Ruskin (1819-1900), Richard Brinsley Sheridan (1751-1816), Mrs Siddons (1755-1831) and
Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723). Each signed in pencil by the engraver with a fine art guild blind stamp lower left. All published in the early 20thC by the Museum Galleries, London, each with a biography verso together with details of the engraver and the original painting used as subject matter.
