A large 19thC Indian Dowry chest with an arched top secured by an unusual locking mechanism, rivetted strapworks and embossed decorative plaques showing stylised birds, pierced latticework and roundels. The chest flanked by large carrying handles and the lid lifting to show a candle box within. 56" wide x 35" deep x 34" high.
