Two French faience plates. One commemorating the French Revolution, decorated with a crossed bayonet and spear and the red phrygian cap, inscribed 'La Liberte', '1789'. Approx. 9 ¼'' diameter. The other depicting a rural scene with three figures smoking pipes near a river, with a floral border. Indistinctly signed lower right and 'Lille 1767' to base. Approx. 9 ¾'' diameter. (2)
