A ' Port Sunlight Order of Conspicuous Merit ' 15ct gold medal , hallmarked Birmingham 1912 maker Elkington & Co , inscribed to the reverse ' Presented to Mr. N. H. Hutchinson. For bravery in rescuing a boy from drowning in the Menai Straights. Aug. 8th 1912.' Approx 1 1/8" wide, with yellow metal chain.
Together with a cased Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society bronze medal, inscribed to the edge: 'To Nathan H. Hutchinson. For gallant service. 18/8/47' (2)
