A 19thC Black Forest carved wood cuckoo table clock in the manner of Johann Baptist Beha. The wooden framed twin fusee movement with twin bellows and having a cuckoo automaton appearing from behind the door above the dial. The circular wooden dial carved with a rosette to centre within chapter ring having applied Gothic style numerals. The gabled chalet style case surmounted by a bird and profusely decorated with carved foliate detail. The rear with lift-out panel fitted with a coiled gong and applied paper trade label for Camerer Cuss & Co. Approx 20” high overall
