Louis Dupre (1789-1837), Original lithograph hand coloured with watercolour, Titled Le Garde des Sceaux d'Ali-Pacha / The Keeper of the seals of Ali-Pacha, depicting Ali-Pacha's secretary and second in command, who was in charge of the law and ensuring that it was obeyed. He is depicted sitting before a tombstone with the city of Ioannina behind, reinforcing his authority. From his travel book Voyage a Athenes et a Constantinople.
