Miss Maud 'Tod' Waddell, c. 1920, Watercolour, A garden urn painted with roses etc., Signed lower right. 14 1/4 x 10 1/4'' Maud 'Tod' Waddell was governess to Daphne du Maurier and her sisters. She was named Tod by Daphne and her sisters after Beatrix Potter's Mr Todd.
