A Chinese blue and white footed bowl with a flared rim, decorated with a scene depicting the entertaining of imperial figures, as well as ladies on a garden terrace with parasols. The centre of the bowl decorated with a roundel depicting a sage scholar reading in a stylised landscape. Character marks under. Approx. 4" high x 8" diameter.
