Musical Instrument: A late 19thC violin bearing label for W. E. Hill & Sons, Wardour Street London, and dated 1882. Constructed from figured maple with rosewood tuning pegs, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, approx 23" long. With fitted maker's case having ebonised finish, the interior with green velvet lining, three compartments and provision for two bows. With maker's plaques for New Bond Street address. Case approx 31" long.
