Musical Instrument: an early 19thC violin, the interior bearing labels 'Repaired by H. Pickard 137 Kirkgate Leeds 1857' and 'Repaired by J. Sweeting Horsforth Leeds 1898', of maple construction with ebony tuning pegs, fingerboard and tailpiece. Approx 23 1/8" long.
Together with a late 20thC case, the fitted interior with blue velvet lining, three compartments and provision for two bows, approx 30" long.
