An early 20thC photograph album of monochrome photographs depicting No. 6 (B) Squadron RAF / Royal Air Force , following the Iraqi Revolt of 1920. Beginning with an aerial view of an RAF camp at Mosul beside the Tigris, followed by a photograph of airmen captioned ' "C" Flight Mosul 1929', Bristol F2 fighter 'E2476' before and after crashing, views of local scenery and industry, people, architecture etc, shipping, and civil aviation (Imperial Airways) including Vickers Victoria and Vernon aeroplanes.
The later pages with views of Egypt and Jerusalem etc, including an RAF camp at Ismailia, aircraft crash scenes and new planes including a Sikorsky 'amphibian' and Fairey Gordon light bomber. Concluding with an aerial view of RAF Ramleh and "C" Flight at Palestine, 1932.
