An early 20thC photograph album, containing 19 monochrome photographs of pre-WWI aviation subjects, Avro biplanes and monoplanes (including the dual rudder 'Burga') at the company flying schools at Brooklands and Shoreham. Roe, Manchester in 1909, becoming a test pilot and Chief flying instructor. He moved on to Sopwith before joining the Royal Naval Air Service in 1915, and was shot down and killed over the Belgian coast the following year, aged 24.
