Militaria , World War 2 / WWII / Second World War : the wartime photograph album of Maschinenhauptgefreite Werner Posel , a sailor aboard the Kriegsmarine 1934A-class destroyer Z13 Erich Koellner.
Containing numerous monochrome photographs, depicting U boats in dry dock, Heinkel seaplanes, torpedo launches, numerous seascapes and pictures of the ship's crew, including two depicting an inspection by Adolf Hitler. The final page with affixed memorial card listing Posel as one of the 31 sailors killed in action when the Erich Koeller was destroyed at Tarstad, Norway during 1940.
