Militaria , World War 2 / WWII / Second World War : the wartime scrapbook of a soldier of the Tank Regiment, British Army containing a large collection of photographs relating to the war in Africa, including depictions of tanks, jeeps and armoured cars, Infantry advancing under fire and capturing German personnel, British artillery firing at night, shell bursts etc. The later pages with photographs of signage for El Alamein and Sirte, a parade with Winston Churchill, Field Marshals Montgomery, Alanbrooke and Alexander with Lieutenant-General Leese, captured Afrikacorps soldiers attended by medics, together with numerous depictions of off-duty and post-war subjects.
