A mid / late 19thC mahogany buffet, bearing makers mark to underside of drawers ‘Rivett & Sons, Makers, Crown St, Finsbury, London’, having a shaped moulded upstand with heavily carved motifs including, shells, foliage and fruits, the upstand flanked by two scrolled mouldings with carved rosettes. The inverted breakfront having a gadrooned edge above two cushion drawers. Having heavily carved front supports with acanthus carved legs terminating in lions paw feet and raised on brass castors. 60" wide x 21" deep x 57" high.
